Michael Larson

Michael Larson is a Lead Member of Technical Staff at Ciena, where they work as a Routing/IP Software Engineer. With extensive experience as a hands-on software engineer, Michael has been involved in the entire product development cycle, specializing in technologies such as C/C++, Java, SQL, and various networking protocols. Previously, they held positions at AT&T, Brocade, and Vyatta, contributing significantly to projects like the vRouter and developing advanced routing and optimization technologies. Michael also has an educational background in Electrical Engineering with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Washington, which they are currently pursuing.
