Nicolas Benoit

Nicolas Benoit has over 29 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as a Senior Systems and Network Engineer at Ciena since April 2010, specializing in systems engineering for optical network management products in the EMEA region. Prior to this role, Nicolas worked at Nortel for nearly 13 years, initially in Optical Network Management R&D and later in Optical Product/System Engineering. Nicolas began the career at Alcatel as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a UK ISDN interface for PABX products. Educational qualifications include a FHDE in Technical Computer Science from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences and an IUT in Electrical Engineering from Université Lumière Lyon 2.
