Peter Seitz

Peter Seitz is currently the Director of Product Cost Management at Ciena, where they lead a team responsible for managing the transactional pricing of the company’s products and overseeing budget and claims related to product cost reductions. Peter has previously held roles at various companies, including Manager of Product Pricing and Supply Chain Operations Project Manager at Nortel, where they optimized product cost models and collaborated with design teams to achieve cost reduction targets. Peter also served as a Value Engineering Consultant at Dessau-Soprin and as a Manufacturing Engineer at Autobus MCI - Novabus, utilizing their engineering background to enhance product development and operational efficiency. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on project management from Polytechnique Montréal.
