Phil Rolle

Phil Rolle boasts extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Regional Managing Director - APJ Subsea at Ciena since March 2010, following a progression through various roles including Account Director, Solution Director, and Business Development Manager. Prior to Ciena, Phil held the position of Carrier Solutions Manager at Nortel from July 2007 to March 2010. Phil's earlier career includes significant roles at TelstraClear, such as Group Manager Technology Strategy and Chief Architect, and at CLEAR Communications as Senior Network Planner. Phil is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certified by the Engineering Council (UK) in 2006, and holds a BE (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Auckland, completed in 1989.
