Phillip Doelling

Phillip Doelling is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director at Ciena since November 2019, Phillip has held multiple leadership roles in Orchestration, Inventory Software Engineering, and Unified Assurance & Analytics Software Engineering. Prior to Ciena, Phillip co-founded Centina Systems, Inc. where roles included Co-Founder & CTO and Co-Founder & VP Engineering from June 2006 to November 2019. Additional experience includes a Principal Software Engineer position at Xtera from October 2001 to June 2006 and Lead Software Engineer at Iris Labs from August 2000 to October 2001. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Texas, with studies at The University of Texas at Dallas.
