Prashant G. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in network security, firmware development, and performance tuning across several high-profile technology companies. Currently serving as SE III at Ciena since 2015, Prashant specializes in virtual software switching using DPDK and VPP, as well as NFV and container networking. Previous roles include Technical Leader at Cisco, where responsibilities included firmware for UCS servers, and Staff Engineer at Emulex, focusing on FCoE firmware for Blade Engine Servers.
