Robin Pickering

Robin Pickering is a Senior Embedded Software Developer at Ciena, where they develop automated tests for manufacturing optical products and provide ongoing test improvements. Previously, Robin worked as a Test Engineer at companies including Optelian, March Networks, and Flextronics, specializing in test design and embedded diagnostics. Before transitioning to software development, Robin served as a New Product Introduction Technician at Nortel Networks and held various roles in the Canadian Primary Army Reserve, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. Robin holds an Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Loyalist College.
