Rocco Melarkey

Rocco Melarkey is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as a Sr. Account Director at Ciena Communications since March 2010, following the acquisition of Nortel MEN. Prior to Ciena, Rocco spent over a decade at Nortel as an Account Director, focusing on DWDM and SONET applications for the AT&T Account Team. Additional experience includes roles as National Account Manager at ADC, Regional Account Manager at Alcatel, Area Sales Manager at Augut, and Area Sales Manager/Product Manager at Reltec. Rocco holds an MBA in Marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a BS in Economics and Management from Elmhurst University.
