Ryan Conatser

Ryan Conatser currently serves as the Sr Director of Sales Operations at Ciena, leading the sales operations team for a $3B annual business in the Americas. Prior to this role, Ryan held multiple positions at Dell EMC, including Managing Director of Channel Sales Operations, where a global program was developed to enhance partner upselling of support services. Additional experience includes roles as Sales Operations Manager for both Enterprise Sales and Services Sales, along with a strategic consultant position that established a business intelligence program. Earlier career experience includes product management at USEC and mechanical design engineering at Y-12 National Security Complex. Ryan holds an MBA in General Management and Operations from Vanderbilt University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, and a BS in Physics from Davidson College.
