Sam Paone

Sam Paone is an accomplished telecommunications executive with extensive experience in sales and account management within the industry. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for both the AT&T and Verizon accounts at Ciena since May 2018, Sam previously held senior roles at Juniper Networks as Senior Director of Sales for Verizon, and Amdocs in various vice president positions focused on network and analytics sales. Early career highlights include leadership roles at Secerno, Cramer Systems, Nokia Networks, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T, where foundational experiences included developing mobile-network business and launching new business ventures. Sam holds an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University and a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
