Scott Swail is a seasoned professional in global cloud networking and AI, currently serving as a Senior Director at Ciena, where they lead corporate and product strategy for hyperscale compute and network interconnect applications. With prior experience at companies including JDSU, Cisco, and Lumentum, Swail has held various leadership roles focused on sales, business development, and technology innovation in both Datacom and Telecom sectors. They co-founded Aaraya and have a strong background in packet and optical communications, contributing to significant advancements in machine learning and open networking initiatives. Swail is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Management of Technology at the University of North Texas and San Francisco State University, respectively.
