Sean Oliver has extensive experience in engineering and support roles, with a career spanning over three decades. Since March 2024, Sean has served as a Volunteer Case Worker at SSAFA the Armed Forces charity. Prior to this, Sean has been with Ciena since August 2006, progressing from Associate Systems Engineer to Senior Systems Engineer. Previous experience includes a role as Technical Support Engineer at Huawei and Network Engineer at Marconi PLC. Sean began a career in communications as a Radio Telegraphist in the British Army from 1989 to 1999. Educational background includes training at Army Apprentice College Harrogate and completion of studies at St Joan of Arc School.
