Shantanu Bedekar

Shantanu Bedekar is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in managing and developing software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Ciena since July 2018, Shantanu leads a team of software and DevOps engineers focused on route optimization and assurance. Prior to Ciena, Shantanu worked at Packet Design for seven years, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and later as Development Manager, where responsibilities included managing teams and contributing to various modules within the Packet Design explorer product suite. Previous roles at Symphony Services, GlobalLogic, Kewill Solutions, and Kirloskar Oil Engines further showcase Shantanu's comprehensive background in software development, particularly with C++ and complex systems integration. Shantanu holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University and a Diploma in Advanced Computing from SunBeam Institute of Information Technology.
