Simon Emery

Simon Emery is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the technology and communications sectors. Currently serving as the EMEA Business Development Manager (Services) at Ciena since October 2021, Simon is responsible for expanding Ciena's Advanced Services business within major accounts. Previously, Simon held the position of Head of Maintenance Support Services Business and Account Director at Xantaro UK from July 2011 to October 2021, where Simon contributed to establishing the company as a leading service integration partner. At Huawei, from May 2007 to June 2011, Simon was the Channel Sales Director for the UK and Ireland, focusing on indirect sales for various data and security solutions. Simon's earlier roles include positions at AYC Telecom, HPS, Infinity I/O, Nortel Networks, and Texas Instruments, spanning various sales and marketing functions. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Surrey and a BA(Hons) in European Marketing from the University of Lincoln, along with additional credentials from CIM.
