Sofia M is currently the Talent Acquisition Lead for Asia Pacific and Japan at Ciena, where they recruit top talent across 12 countries. Previously, they served as a Talent Acquisition Senior Analyst at Dell from 2010 to 2016 and as a South Asia Talent Acquisition and Branding Specialist at Infobip from 2016 to 2018. Sofia M's diverse recruitment experience spans various fields, including IT, sales, and finance, and includes successfully launching operations in new markets. They began their career freelance interpreting Japanese, English, and Malay before transitioning into human resources and talent acquisition. Sofia M holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Chemistry from Tokai University, where they graduated in the top 12 of their class.
