Steve Crooks

Steve Crooks is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Since August 2015, Steve has served as Senior Manager and previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Ciena. Prior to this, Steve contributed as a Member of Technical Staff at Wind River from January 2012 to August 2015, and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ericsson from January 2010 to January 2012. Steve's career in software engineering began at Nortel, where a tenure from October 1994 to December 2009 was marked by the role of Senior Software Engineer. Steve earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, completing studies from 1989 to 1993.
