Tim Ford

Tim Ford has over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, primarily at Ciena since October 1998, where currently serving as Director of Regional Network Solutions Engineering. In this role, Tim manages a team of Systems Engineers focused on supporting on-site and field trials, as well as overseeing customer demonstration labs in North America. Prior positions at Ciena include Manager, responsible for all technical and operational aspects of the Customer Demonstration lab in Linthicum, MD, and Senior Engineer, specializing in digital and FPGA design. Tim's earlier experience includes a managerial role at RMS from October 1990 to October 1998. Tim holds a Master of Engineering Science in Electronics/Computer Engineering from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Capitol Technology University.
