Tim Maenpaa

Tim Maenpaa is a retired professional with a robust background in optical engineering and sales. Currently pursuing personal interests following retirement in May 2022, Tim spent over a decade at Ciena as a Consulting Field Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included engineering sales support and providing optical architecture recommendations. Prior to Ciena, Tim served as a Senior Optical Sales Engineer at Nortel, focusing on generating detailed customer proposals, and held the position of Optical Systems Engineer at Paradyne. Tim Maenpaa holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained in 1982.
