Tim Pearson

Tim Pearson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as VP of Network Control, Planning and Content PLM at Ciena since March 2010, Tim has held multiple senior management roles focusing on the development of hardware, software, and SaaS solutions, emphasizing team development, customer interaction, and product strategy. Prior experience at Nortel Networks from January 1997 to March 2010 included leadership in Asia Business Development and senior management of product management, driving significant growth and competitive advantages in the Japanese market and globally. Tim holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MMSc in Management of Technology from the University of Waterloo, and a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador.
