Troy Wilson

Troy Wilson is an experienced director in hardware development at Ciena, with a career spanning over two decades in the telecommunications industry. Since September 2009, Troy has led various hardware development teams, focusing on the design of circuit pack products for Ciena's Waveserver, WaveRouter, RLS, and 6500 systems. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Packet Optical Hardware Design and Principal Hardware Designer, where responsibilities encompassed the design and delivery of complex hardware products. Prior experience at Liquid Computing involved designing intricate circuit boards for high-performance computing, while earlier tenure at Ciena/Catena Networks further developed skills as a Senior Hardware Designer. Troy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
