Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar has over two decades of experience in software engineering, currently serving as Director of Software Engineering Systems at Ciena since May 2007, where previous roles include Senior Manager, Manager of Embedded Software Engineering, Lead Engineer, and Module Lead. Prior to Ciena, Vinay held the position of Senior Engineer at Xiotech India Pvt Ltd from 2005 to 2007. Vinay began a career in software engineering at Mentor Graphics from May 2003 to May 2005 and at MindTree from 2001 to 2003. Vinay Kumar earned a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati between 1997 and 2001, and completed education at Netarhat School from 1991 to 1995.
