Weicong Zhou

Weicong Zhou is currently the Sales Director for APJ MOFN at Ciena, where they focus on managed optical fiber networks. Previously, they served as the Sales Director for Content Providers APAC at Infinera, driving business development for OTT and ICP customers across the region. Weicong has extensive experience in the optical networking sector, having held the position of Director of Global Business Development for Asia Pacific at ADVA Optical Networking from 2015 to 2021. They also contributed as a Senior System Consultant and Technical Sales Network Consultant at ADVA, specializing in pre-sales support and optical system design. Weicong is pursuing a Master of Communication Engineering in Telecommunication at Nanyang Technological University.
