Yuval Ronen

Yuval Ronen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and project leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Ciena since November 2013, Yuval has a history of impactful roles, including Technical Project Lead and senior developer at Virtual Bridges, Inc. from 2010 to 2013, and Senior Software Engineer at Blue Coat Systems from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, Yuval contributed significantly at Motorola Mobile Devices from 2000 to 2007, focusing on embedded Linux platforms and Java virtual machines. Early career achievements include leadership positions in DSP C compiler development at Motorola Semiconductor and National Semiconductor. Yuval holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
