Mark Breen

Chief Technology Officer at Vail School District

Mark Breen has had a range of roles and experiences in the field of technology and education. Mark started their career in 2004 as a Band Director and Music Technology Instructor in Willcox Unified District 13, where they also served as the District Fine Arts Coordinator. In 2009, Mark joined Vail School District as a Technology Instructor and Band Director, later transitioning to the role of Site Technology Coordinator, then Business Services Coordinator, and finally Director of Technology. Mark has been working as the Chief Technology Officer at Vail School District since July 2021. Additionally, Mark has served as an Executive Board Member for the Arizona Technology in Education Association since August 2016. Mark has also been an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Pima Medical Institute since July 2011.

Mark Breen earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Arizona State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Mark later pursued a Master's degree in Music Performance & Pedagogy at Northern Illinois University, where they attended from 2002 to 2004.
