Emma O'Brien

Emma O'Brien has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various roles and industries. Emma is currently working as a Finance Officer at Cifas since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Accounts Coordinator at Boost Drinks Ltd from March 2021 to October 2022. Emma also served as a Management Accountant at Habasit from March 2020 to March 2021. Emma worked as a Revenue Accountant at Alliance Automotive Group UK from November 2019 to February 2020. Emma gained extensive experience as a Finance Manager at Denford Ltd from October 2015 to November 2019, where they managed the transactional finance function and handled various financial tasks including sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and international logistics. Previously, Emma worked at Koch Industries as an Assistant Financial Accountant from January 2015 to October 2015 and as a Senior Accounting Assistant from June 2012 to January 2015. Emma also had experience as a Costing Accountant at CLS Global Solutions Ltd from May 2011 to June 2012 and as an Assistant Accountant at Hughes Safety Showers Ltd from May 2006 to May 2011.

Emma O'Brien completed their GCSES at Astley High School from 1996 to 2001. In 2008, they obtained an NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin from Damar Limited. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Kaplan Financial, where they completed an AAT Level 4 in Accounting. In September 2012, Emma obtained their MAAT certification from THE ASSOCIATION OF ACCOUNTING TECHNICIANS. Most recently, in July 2021, they obtained a certification in Mental Health Awareness from Mind.
