Simon Miller

Simon Miller is a transformative communications and public policy leader with extensive experience in central Whitehall departments and local governance. They served as Assistant Director of Communications Regulation at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, where they led significant policy initiatives, including the EU Electronic Communications Framework. Between 2017 and 2022, Simon was the Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Housing Development at Waltham Forest Council, overseeing a £4bn investment pipeline. Currently, Simon is the Director of Policy, Strategy, and Communications at Cifas, where they focus on enhancing corporate strategy and stakeholder engagement. Simon holds a PhD in History from The University of Sheffield.
