Joe Alston

Joe Alston is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in portfolio management and research analysis. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at CIFC Asset Management since November 2024, Joe previously held the role of Deputy Portfolio Manager at AlbaCore Capital Group from November 2019 to October 2024. Additionally, Joe contributed to the European Leveraged Finance Association as Co-Chair of the AI Committee from January 2024 to September 2024. Joe's earlier career includes serving as an AVP Research Analyst in leveraged finance at Voya Investment Management from September 2014 to November 2019 and as an Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors, EMEA from October 2013 to September 2014. Joe holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and a degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University.
