Ludovic Daix has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ludovic began their career as a Tank Platoon Leader in the Belgian Defence and later transitioned into a GIS Specialist role in the Command & Control Department. Ludovic then joined the Belgian Royal Military Academy as a Teaching Assistant in Computer Sciences before becoming a GIS Manager at the SatCen.
Afterward, Ludovic joined Capgemini as a Senior Manager GIS, where they oversaw enterprise architecture and managed the Intelligent Transportation Systems projects portfolio. Ludovic also worked as a Software Engineer at TMVW, providing GIS expertise.
Later, Ludovic worked as a Project Manager / GIS & Enterprise Architect at Oniryx, where they managed various projects and applications. Ludovic also worked as a Project Manager Vitalink & FHIR at Smals.
Ludovic also co-founded CiKiSi, a company that offers a web monitoring solution. Ludovic then worked as an IT Manager at Focades ASBL and Creajob ASBL, where they managed IT operations.
Currently, Ludovic is working as a GIS Product Owner at ASTRID, where they play a key role in driving the development and implementation of GIS products.
Throughout their career, Ludovic has gained expertise in GIS capabilities, enterprise architecture, project management, and IT strategy. Ludovic has also demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team and project management.
Ludovic Daix has a diverse education history. Ludovic obtained a Master's degree in Social and Military Sciences from the Royal Military Academy in Belgium, graduating in 1999. In 2003, they pursued additional education at ECIS in Belgian Defence, specializing in Computer Sciences. In the same year, they also completed a course at ECBL in Belgian Defence, focusing on Tank Squadron Command.
In 2005 and 2006, Ludovic pursued a Postgraduate degree in Managenent & Information Technologies at HEC Liège. Ludovic further expanded their knowledge in 2010 by taking a course in Applied Geomatics at the Université catholique de Louvain, which they completed in 2015.
In 2014, they attended a Master Class in Strategic Intelligence at HEC Liège, and in 2015, they studied Pratiques de la prospective stratégique at Futuribles International.
In addition to their formal education, Ludovic also holds several certifications. In 2012, they obtained the TOGAF v9.1 Lvl 1 & 2 certification from The Open Group, and in 2013, they became a certified Prince 2 - Practitioner through APMG International. Ludovic also achieved certifications such as Dirigeant de Club Sportif Amateur from the Association interféderale du Sport francophone in 2019, PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB in 2019, and Prince 2 - Foundations from APMG International in 2012.
