System Architect at CILAS

Thomas SCHMITT began their work experience in 2013 as a Worker Intern on the Production line at Robert Bosch GmbH. In 2014, they worked as an Electrical Engineer Internship at Carl Zeiss SMT. In 2015, they joined CILAS as an R&D Laser Engineer and later became a System Architect. At CILAS, they were responsible for managing the development and qualification of high-power optical amplifiers for satellite-based optical feeder links. Thomas also played an active role in the testing and validation of the amplifiers. Prior to joining CILAS, they worked as a Fiber Laser Engineer Internship.

Thomas Schmitt's education history begins in 2007 when they attended "Lycée Jean Baptiste Dumas" for high school. Thomas completed their Baccalauréat of Science in the field of Physics & Chemistry in 2010.
