Matt Huggett

Matt Huggett's work experience includes being a Partner and CILEX Lawyer at Carbon Law Partners since 2018. Matt is also the Founder of Brightstar HR starting in 2023. At CILEX, they held various roles including Immediate Past President and Non-Executive Director from July 2023 onwards, President and Non-Executive Director from July 2022 to July 2023, Vice President and Non-Executive Director from July 2021 to July 2022, and Non-Executive Director from May 2018 to July 2021. Matt was a Visiting Lecturer - CIPD Employment Law at Weston College since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at EEF from 1996. Matt'sroles at EEF included Lead Lawyer - Key Accounts from February 2015 to November 2017, Senior Legal Adviser from October 2010 to February 2015, Legal Adviser from October 2003 to September 2010, and HR Research (Policy and Pay Benchmarking) from February 1996 to October 2003.

Matt Huggett attended the CILEX Law School from 2003 to 2008, specializing in the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Prior to that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at the University of the West of England from 1998 to 2000. Matt completed their undergraduate studies in Business Studies at the University of Derby from 1989 to 1992. Matt Huggett completed their secondary education at St Laurence School in Bradford-on-Avon from 1982 to 1989.
