Esteban Castro

Esteban Castro is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in automation and instrumentation across various industries. Currently serving as Lead Engineering Technologist Automation at CIMA+ since 2014, Esteban has a strong background in control system migrations and HMI development from previous roles as Automation Technologist at Total Control Solution Group. Prior to that, Esteban held multiple supervisory positions at Safeway, effectively managing warehouse operations and conducting audits. Esteban's early career includes significant contributions at Petroquímica de Venezuela, S.A., where responsibilities included supervising maintenance teams and coordinating major maintenance activities, as well as providing technical support for PLC systems. Esteban is pursuing a PLC & HMI Certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from IUPFAN University.
