Ibrahim Soud

Ibrahim Soud is a Project Director at CIMA+ with over 19 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, specializing in dam engineering, geotechnical design, and risk management within the energy and mining sectors. As a Lead Geotechnical Engineer at Hatch, they managed complex dam projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical excellence. Ibrahim completed a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Université Laval, where their research focused on advancing the understanding of rockfill dam behavior. Their notable projects include directing safety evaluations for dikes at the Beauharnois Canal and leading design efforts for containment dikes for Hydro-Québec.
