Jill Downey, CRSP, currently serves as the Regional Manager HSE for Ontario and Atlantic Canada at CIMA+ since June 2024. Previously, Jill held various leadership roles in health and safety at Hatch as Regional Health & Safety Manager and Sr. Safety Advisor for Western Canada, and at Bell as Senior Manager - Health & Safety, where efforts focused on transitioning to the OHSAS 18001 management system and conducting technical analyses for continuous improvement initiatives. Jill's extensive experience also includes serving as Corporate EHS Compliance Program Manager at BlackBerry, where responsibilities involved the design and implementation of global EHS systems, and prior positions within healthcare organizations and manufacturing. Jill holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Ryerson University and additional certifications in project management and workplace safety.
