John McMahon

John McMahon possesses extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as Manager HSE at CIMA+ since October 2025, John previously held significant roles at FortisBC, including Safety Director and Director of Safety and Operational Learning from January 2018 to October 2025. Before that, John was the Head of Department at BC Hydro from April 2015 to April 2017 and served as Executive Director at SafetyDriven - Trucking Safety Council of BC from April 2012 to April 2015. Additionally, John was the Director at the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC from April 2009 to April 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Public and Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Strathclyde.
