Richard Bourque has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Richard currently works at CIMA+ as an Associate Partner, Senior Director, IT Business Solutions. Prior to that, they worked at SAQ as an Associate Director, Data Management, where they were responsible for overseeing a team specialized in data management and developing business relationships. Before that, they worked at Cofomo as a Director, Programs and Service Delivery, Innovation and Transformation Lab, where they recruited and managed agile software development teams and developed new service offerings. Richard also worked at Element AI as a Delivery Manager, responsible for delivering AI deep learning solutions to clients. Richard has previous experience as an IT Project Manager at McGill University and ADP, managing a wide range of IT projects. Richard also worked at CGI, where they served as a Project Manager and Project Control Officer, and at GPBL Projectwise as a Project Management Advisor. Richard began their career as a Software Developer at Boréalis and IBM.
Richard Bourque obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2009. Richard then attended Cégep de Sherbrooke and received a Diploma of College Studies in Computer Science in 2006. In 2011, Richard completed their Master's Degree in Project Management at École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM). Later, in 2020, Richard enrolled in the MIT Sloan School of Management to pursue a program called "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy." Furthermore, Richard participated in a summer school program at Université de Sherbrooke in 2023, focusing on the "Strategic Management of Artificial Intelligence." Richard has also acquired various certifications, including ChatGPT Prompt Engineering for Developers from DeepLearning.AI, Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and Simplifying Data Pipelines with Apache Kafka from IBM and Cognitive Class.
