Syed Saad Alam

Syed Saad Alam, M.Eng., P.Eng., is a Senior Engineer at CIMA+ with over a decade of experience in diverse EPCM projects, including greenfield and brownfield substations. Previously, they served as a Project Technical Lead at SNC-Lavalin, where they oversaw engineering teams for major transmission line projects. Syed has collaborated on significant projects such as the CoNW Queensborough Substation and the WoodFiber LNG Interconnection, contributing to detailed design, technical documentation, and client liaising. They hold a Master of Engineering from The University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
