Walid Elsayed, PhD, PEng, is an Associate Partner at CIMA+ with extensive experience in structural engineering. They commenced their career as a Structural Engineer at Mousa Consultants from 1996 to 2003, before advancing to R&D Engineer at SIMTReC from 2003 to 2008. Walid then worked as a Project Engineer at IBR Group Inc and held positions as a Structural Engineer at EXP, Stantec, and Senior Engineer at Arup until 2021. They earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, complemented by an MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering from Helwan University in Cairo.
