Dan Dorton

Dan Dorton has over 25 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. Dan began their career in 1991 as a Technical Support Engineer at WordPerfect Corp. In 1994, they moved to Novell as a Senior Support Engineer. Three years later, they joined Metastorm as a Configuration Manager. In 2001, Dan moved to Nexic as a Software Engineer. In 2011, they returned to Novell as a Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, Dan has been the Director Of Development at Cimitra Software since 2018.

Dan Dorton obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Excelsior University in 2002. Dan also obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science & Information Systems from Utah Valley University between 1990 and 1994. Additionally, they hold certifications in GroupWise 4 CNE and NetWare 4 CNE.
