Suresh

Suresh, L.M is a highly experienced plant pathologist with a career spanning over two decades in various prestigious organizations. Suresh began the professional journey at Indo-American Hybrid Seeds (India) Pvt. Ltd. as an Assistant Manager in R&D, focusing on disease screening and diagnosis for vegetables. Subsequently, Suresh worked with Monsanto in several capacities, including Pathology Lead for West Asia and Asia Lead for Pathology Applications, where contributions included developing disease trait strategies and leading research programs. From 2011 to the present, Suresh has held significant roles at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) as the Maize Pathology Lead for Sub-Saharan Africa, leading advanced disease phenotyping research. Suresh also holds an MBA from IGNOU, a PhD in Plant Pathology from Kuvempu University, and completed an Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University, demonstrating a strong foundation in both leadership and technical expertise in agriculture.
