James KempVanEe

James KempVanEe is the Director of Investigations at Cimplifi, a position they began in 2024. They previously served as the Digital Forensics Supervisor at Broward Sheriff's Office from 2018 to 2024, and as Vice President of Forensic Services at LOGICFORCE from 2009 to 2021. Their earlier career includes roles as an Investigator and Forensic Technology Specialist at the Tennessee Attorney General's Office (2007-2009), as well as a Police Officer and Detective with both the Metro Nashville Police Department and Ceres Police Department (1994-2005). James holds a Master of Science in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Florida (2016-2018) and a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University (2003-2006).
