Giorgio Apuzzo

Giorgio Apuzzo is an accomplished Security Engineer with extensive experience in enhancing product security through automated checks and incident response frameworks. Currently at Cimpress since October 2020, Giorgio previously held security positions at Adevinta and Schibsted Media Group, where security measures were significantly improved. A solid background in firewall management and threat intelligence implementation was gained while consulting for OTS Spa, alongside earlier roles that included software engineering at Brembo S.p.A. and network security analysis at Be-Innova. Giorgio possesses skills in Python, Linux, VOIP, and Asterisk, complemented by a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Laurea in Computer Science from Università di Trento. Additional education includes participation in a Bioinformatics Summer School at the University of Helsinki.
