Jeff Nelson

Jeff Nelson is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and business operations. As the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Blavity Inc. since July 2014, Nelson has driven strategic growth initiatives, resulting in the company's recognition as the largest platform for Black Millennials, reaching over 100 million users monthly. Nelson also founded Cinchapi, serving as CEO, where the focus is on developing intelligent software for real-time data insights. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at MailChimp and Software Engineer at Palantir Technologies, with a strong background in data analysis and product development across various programming environments. Nelson holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, where leadership capabilities were demonstrated as the Student Body President.
