Mark Gerken has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Mark started their career at Delphi as a Co-Op Quality Engineer in 1996. Mark then worked at Lau Industries as a Project Engineer until 2001. Gerken joined United Air Specialists in 2001 and held various engineering management positions, including Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and Vice President of Engineering. In 2014, they joined Parker Hannifin as the Vice President of Engineering for Industrial Filtration and later became the Business Unit Manager for Industrial OEM & Units. Currently, Gerken is the Vice President of Engineering at Cincinnati Fan & Ventilator Co., Inc., a position they have held since 2018.

Mark Gerken completed their education with an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, which they attended from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University between 1992 and 1997. In addition to their formal education, Mark has also obtained a certification as an AMCA Committee Member from AMCA International in September 2021.
