Tom Powell

Tom Powell is an experienced landman and independent contractor with a diverse background in the oil and gas industry. Since September 2006, Tom has been self-employed as a President and Independent Contractor, while simultaneously serving as President and Petroleum Landman at Thomas J. Powell & Associates LTD. Tom's experience includes intensive training under mentor Thomas J. Taylor and roles as a Landman at Thomas J. Taylor & Associates focusing on oil and gas leases, as well as a Landman II at AQYRE, where deal-making expertise was honed. Additionally, Tom held a brief role as Chief Financial Officer at Remington Dupree. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Political Science, and Cultural Anthropology from Colorado State University, a Due Diligence workshop from Cinco Due Diligence Seminar, and a Petroleum Education Workshop focused on mineral interest calculations.
