Dirk Verleysen

Dirk Verleysen has over 30 years of work experience in the IT industry. Dirk is currently the owner of Dram 242 since 2012, where they manage the company's operations. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cincom Systems starting in 2008. Before that, they owned their own IT services company called verleysen.net starting in 2007.

Dirk's previous experience includes working as a Consultant at Roots Software from 1998 to 2008, and as a Consultant at Roots N.V. from 1998 to 2007. Dirk also worked as a Developer at Fabelta Ninove N.V. from 1991 to 1998, where they introduced Smalltalk and Relational Database systems into the company. Before that, they were the IT Manager at Sanpareil N.V. from 1989 to 1991, responsible for computer installations and software development. From 1988 to 1989, Dirk worked as a Project Leader at Infosoft N.V., where they were responsible for new developments in the distribution and food sectors. Dirk began their career as a Developer at Fabelta Ninove N.V. in 1985.

Throughout their career, Dirk has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies, and has been involved in software development, project management, and system installations.

Dirk Verleysen began their education in 1981 at HORIHAN - Aalst, where they pursued a degree in Accounting - Banking. Dirk completed their studies at HORIHAN - Aalst in 1983. Following this, Dirk enrolled at Rega in 1983 to pursue a degree in Computer Science. Dirk successfully completed their studies at Rega in 1985.
