Alison Smith

Alison Smith is the Head of Business Development at Cinctive Capital Management. Most recently, Alison was Deputy Director of Research at Aptigon Capital (Citadel) where she ran talent acquisition and development. Previously, she was at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2010-2015 where she was Co-Head of NY Equity Sales. Prior to that, Alison was Managing Director at Citigroup in U.S. Equity Sales from 2000-2010. Alison began her career in 1997 with Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong Asia Equity Sales before relocating to New York to the U.S. Equity Sales desk. Alison graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in International Relations.
