Simon Wottge

Simon Wottge is an accomplished Animation Supervisor currently at Cinesite, where responsibilities include work on notable projects such as "True Detective" season 04, which received Emmy finalist recognition and an AEAF Special Merit Award, and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," nominated for an Oscar for Best Visual Effects. With extensive experience in animation and visual effects, Simon has held various positions including Lead Animator on major films and series like "Avengers: Endgame" and "The Witcher," both of which garnered prestigious awards. Prior to Cinesite, Simon founded and managed POSTBOX FX, a visual effects post-production company, and has contributed to projects with companies such as The Senate VFX and Saddington Baynes. Simon's educational background includes a BDes (Hons) in Animation & Electronic Media from the University of Dundee, along with various certificates in related fields.
