Brian Brooks

Brian Brooks is an experienced professional in the film and entertainment industry, currently serving as the VP of Documentary Projects at Cinetic Media since September 2019. Brian has been the Director of Special Events and Programming for SeriesFest since February 2015, playing a significant role in launching the annual episodic content festival in Denver. Previous positions include Director of Events at Landmark Theatres from October 2017 to September 2019 and Program Manager at Film at Lincoln Center from August 2015 to September 2019, where responsibilities included organizing key events during the New York Film Festival. Additionally, Brian was a columnist for Deadline Hollywood from January 2012 to August 2019, writing about theatrical releases and award events, and served as Managing Editor for IndieWire for over a decade. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in History from UCLA.
