Mark Torres

Mark Torres has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies within the human resources field. Mark started as a Director of Human Resources at Sony Pictures in 1987 and worked there until 1994. After that, they served as the VP of Human Resources at Ticketmaster from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they worked as the AVP of Staffing at Long Beach Mortgage in 1997-1998. From 1999 to 2000, they held the position of VP of Human Resources at Scour Inc. Mark then joined Variety in 2001 as the VP of Human Resources, overseeing all HR functions for their Entertainment Division until 2010. Mark worked at Rubicon Project as the Senior VP of People & Culture from 2011 to 2013. Afterwards, they worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in HR consulting for tech and media companies from 2014 to 2016. Mark then served as the Head of Human Resources & Administration at PHENOMENON from 2016 to 2017. Mark worked at Neustar, Inc. as the Sr. HR Business Partner Manager in 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Chief People Officer at Cineverse. Overall, Mark Torres has a solid background in HR leadership and has experience in various industries.
