Gurpreet D.

Gurpreet D. is the G. Brint Ryan Endowed Chair of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at the University of North Texas, where they focus on the intersection of technology and organizations, particularly in managing information security. Gurpreet obtained a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and has published extensively, with over a dozen books and 100 research papers to their name. Their work has influenced public and private sectors and contributed to national security policies. Previously, Gurpreet held faculty positions at various prestigious institutions, including the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Virginia Commonwealth University, and served as a board member for multiple organizations. In 2019, they received an Honorary Doctorate from Örebro University for their contributions to cybersecurity.
